All About Eucalyptus

The Eucalyptus radiata used in our products is 100% locally grown, hand-picked and distilled in the Snowy Mountains. We know each tree by name (really), we know exactly what’s in each bottle and we know our extraction methods are not compromised by the use of harsh solvents. Each bottle of our essential oil contains nothing but the tree.

Commonly known as narrow-leaved peppermint gum, our radiata leaves are steam distilled in pure mountain rainwater for eucalyptol and organic compounds to produce an oil that is distinctly fresh, without the sharp medicinal overtones often associated with eucalyptus oil.

Eucalyptus oil has many therapeutic benefits which may include anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial, immune respiratory stimulants and antibacterial properties.

Our eucalyptus hydrosol mist, or eucalyptus water, comes over the still during the extraction process. Tiny particles of oil are absorbed into the rainwater and whilst not as potent as pure essential oil, hydrosol can be sprayed directly onto your skin, or into the air. A simple natural antibacterial, free from preservatives, emulsifiers and alcohol, great for travelling and everyday use.
