Oils that blend well with Eucalyptus radiata include; rosemary, lavender, cedarwood, thyme, lemongrass, peppermint, marjoram, lemon, cypress, ginger, tea tree, grapefruit, chamomile and pine.
These oils may have beneficial qualities when combined with Eucalyptus radiata;
Lemongrass and citronella as an insect repellant
Peppermint, eucalyptus globulus and thyme for colds and flu
Ginger, marjoram, black pepper and chamomile in a carrier oil as an anti inflamatory and to improve circulation
Lavender and chamomile to soothe and energise
Lemongrass for a crisp, cleansing aroma
Rosemary and peppermint for sinus relief
Lemon and rosemary to enhance concentration
Peppermint, grapeseed and lavender, or lemon, sage, cedarwood and cypress in a carrier oil for massage
Pine, lemon and lavender in a carrier oil for the bath
CAUTION
Concentrated eucalyptus oil and vapour is flammable and care should be taken at all times. Eucalyptus oil is a volatile material and should be stored in a cool area, away from heat and light. Concentrated oil should be diluted before use.
For external use only, do not ingest and avoid contact with eyes. Skin test diluted oil before use for potential allergic reactions. When diluted for topical use, Eucalyptus radiata is generally non irritating, non toxic and non sensitising.
Specialist advice from a qualified aroma therapist, or physician should be sought if using Eucalyptus radiata essential oil on or near children under 10 years of age, pregnant women, those with medical conditions, or pets.
